| The LaserAlign 1 is made from Solid Anodized Aluminum with Stainless Steel inserts for the rulers. It's solidly built to very tight tolerances and feels that way. It's built to last a lifetime! It rests directly on top of your existing guides and is positioned with three registration blocks that mount on the factory guides and mesh with slots machined into the bottom of the main unit. The blocks are positioned initially using an included acrylic template and easy instructions. The LaserAlign can remain in place, or it can be removed and repositioned in seconds when needed. Always straight and always perfect! |

| The LaserAlign 1 measures 18 inches across the back and 12 inches on the side (45 cm & 30 cm for Metric). It is 1 inch wide and designed to rest atop standard rulers that are 1" wide. If your rulers are narrower than 1", you will have a bit of overhand, and your machine must be able to accept this. Special orders for a narrower LaserAlign MAY be considered. Please call us. |

| If your laser has an OPTICAL AutoFocus system, such as those from Universal Laser, you should probably order our AF model - the standard model will disrupt the auto focus system and make it focus at a minimum height of 1.5 inches. This is STILL not a problem, as you can always fine focus after the auto focus has completed or manually focus, but our AF model, has a notch on the Vertical arm between the 2" and 4" area with a reflector mounted in it - this temporarily bypasses the reflector built into the machine. Just let us know which model you want - both the same price. NO machine modifications are necessary with either model. |
